Swiss Village (Village Suisse) is a must if you’re looking to buy art in Paris. One hundred and fifty antique dealers, designers and art galleries line the lanes of this neighborhood. These shops were built on the former location of the 1900 Universal Exhibition, where a replica of a Swiss village had been built – hence the name.

If you enjoy antiquing, you’ll appreciate the concentration of galleries offering a whole array of antiquities and rare items. 78 Avenue de Suffren/54 avenue de la Motte Picquet. Open from 10.30am to 7pm except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
