L'AMI JEAN

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

According to many, this is the best bistro in Paris. With its inventive cuisine and excellent produce (meats, fish, game (depending on the season), prepared in the French south-western style, this restaurant has its fair share of regulars. The tables are quite close together, to encourage interchange between customers, and service is swift (sometimes a little too swift for those who would prefer to linger). The superb menu is renewed daily and the value for money is unbeatable. Stéphane Jégo has built up the bistro in Paris, one of the favorites with clients from the surrounding hotels. Those from the Eiffel Seine Hotel are, of course, not an exception. 27, rue Malar 75007 PARIS - Tel. +33 1 47 05 86 89

THE BISTROT D'EN FACE

You’ll really appreciate the atmosphere at Le Bistro d’en Face! If you’re looking for a restaurant with a warm, authentic feel to it, this is the place to go. It has excellent wines at affordable prices and a large, calm patio in summer. Also, the two managers, Hervé and Julien, select an eclectic playlist of music each month, ranging from “Overkill” (acoustic version) by Colin Hay, to “It’s a new day” by Will.I.Am and “My name is nobody” by Ennio Morricone!

At mid-day, business lunchers will enjoy the spaciousness and privacy of the place. In the evening, families or friends come to appreciate the candle-lit, “fast and furious” atmosphere. 24, rue du Docteur Finlay, 75015 PARIS www.lebistrodenface.com
